"Celebrities should be allowed to keep their private lives private, without the invasion of the media"
As we know, famous people have an extremely big number
of fans. They are followed by them everywhere and anytime. Journalists would
like to know about the news, happening to celebrities all the time, and then
they send this information to media centers, which publish it. It is like a
system, it has always been happening to people who are a little bit different
from others. Media invades into stars' lives. They cannot hide from publicity,
from peering at them, from constant snapshots and other similar situations.
There are different thoughts about this problem.
Some
people think that media steals celebrities' privacy. They believe that famous
people want to do usual things ordinary people do unnoticed. For example,
followers should not take photos of an actor, eating food, as it would be
embarrassing for him to see the picture where he looks awkward (in this
picture: Robert Pattinson eating something). So, celebrities have a right to
have time to live for themselves.
Moreover, instant celebrity following can lead to different kind of
misunderstandings. For example, a journalist has captured a scene where a
married singer talks to a woman in a cute way. After publishing this photo,
there are many questions surrounding these two people, and this man's wife too.
Not rarely such news lead to liable summaries. For example, once people saw
Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber together (these two broke up a couple years ago).
They thought that they became a couple again, while in several months it turned
out that Justin has another girlfriend. So, it is celebrities’ private life,
their own relationships, others should not interfere into.
However, some suppose that stars do not like to live a private life. They claim
that stars enjoy this kind of followings. They got used to this kind of
chasings, and feel themselves quite comfortable. For example, celebrities often
start grandstanding! They want to seem charming in eyes of those who look at
them, who take photos of them.
Moreover, people think that stars have chosen this
path for themselves. It was their decision. And that is why they had to be
prepared to this life. They should not complain about constant interviews and
cameras running after them.
All in all, people have different opinions about this
issue. There should be balance between privacy and publicity. The things that
can be shown are have to be shown, and those which are not acceptable, should
not be published at all.
